The cradle of student growth, a university that creates new values

The College of Engineering has worked to achieve its goal of educating highly-skilled, talented students with strong teamwork capabilities, serious work ethic, and global awareness. These students will be able to make creative applications of the theories and professional skills of applied sciences and cutting-edge technologies that are the fundamentals of the nation’s industrial advancements.

It has also earned international accreditation of its educational programs and conducted research and development on future-oriented industries at its Innovation Center for Engineering Education, Research Institute of Advanced Technology, and Machine Shop. In particular, it has contributed greatly to the regional development by offering technological consultations to the local businesses by studying the development of local resources.

Introduction

The Computer Engineering Majors program aims at cultivating the superior engineers who are capable of mastering the theory and application of IT including computer engineering and information communication technology, and leading the new knowledge industry in the information-driven society. To effectively implement the program to nurture the talented engineers, we offer courses such as digital rational circuit and computer structure and other relevant subjects to establish the hardware concepts and their operational system, software technology, data base, algorism design and analysis upon which software subjects, computer-communication coupled information communication, the next generation communication networking, mobile programming, and artificial intelligence are based for all areas of computer applications. In fostering the superior professionals, we also collaborate with KAKAO Co. and many other industries to design and run the industry tailor-made curricula for the industrial sector.
