History

The Jeju Leaders Academy(JLA) of the Graduate School of Public Administration was established in March 2015 by integrating the history and tradition of the Advanced Executive Course (established in 1991) and the Regional Society Leadership Course (established in 1994), aiming to foster leaders for the local community with creative innovation as its foundation. 

 

Application Information

  • Number of Recruits: Approximately 60 
  • Screening Procedure: Document Review 
  • Eligibility: Jeju residents 
    • a. Those who aspire to be leaders in the Jeju community 
    • b. Managers and executives of public or private enterprises, Executives of various social organizations 
    • c. Officials of national and local governments 
    • d. Other individuals with equivalent qualifications as above 
  • Application Period: December 21, 2022 (Wednesday) to January 20, 2023 (Friday) 
  • Required Documents: 1 copy of the application form, 1 copy of the agreement on the collection, retention and usage of personal information, 2 photos of the applicant (3x4 photo taken recently) 
  • Course Term: 1 year 
  • Tuition Fee: 700,000 KRW per semester ※ Membership fee for the student association is not included 
  • Note: Priority admission within 20% of the recruitment quota for socially disadvantaged class, national merit recipients, immigrants residing in Jeju, multicultural immigrants, etc.

Course Term

  • Class Hours: 30 weeks per year (15 weeks for the spring and fall semesters each) 
  • Class Schedule: Every Wednesday from 18:30 to 21:00
