Introduction
Architectural Engineering is a discipline dealing with edifices and houses, and it encompasses the three major divisions, architectural structure, architectural environment and facilities, and construction and materials. The architectural engineers work closely with the architects in the functional aspects and technical issues of the buildings. The primary objectives of our departmental program are to plan and construct the safe and pleasant homes and offices while also considering the economic and quality requirements of the construction projects. The 4-year architectural engineering majors curricula consist of structure, construction, environment, and ancillary facilities. The department provides these curricular to nurture the architectural engineers capable of applying the knowledge and expertise for successfully completing the architectural projects at their construction sites.
Aims
The Architectural Engineering Majors program offers the basic courses covering the entire architectural engineering field in cultivating the engineering professionals capable of solving any problem arising from the construction projects. We aim at nurturing the talented engineers backed by basic architectural training and practical capabilities to meet the needs of the society and qualify for international certifications in the relevant architectural engineering specialties.

Construction companies, construction research institutes, construction and consulting firms, structure and ancillary facility engineering corporations, construction supervision firms, government services, public education services, structural design offices, and estimates assessment agencies, etc. are professional career options open to our majors graduates. In addition, they are provided with 2nd degree teachers certificates for junior high school teaching assignments on satisfying the requirements for educational appointments.
