Center for Human Rights at Jeju National University

The Center for Human Rights at Jeju National University is an institution dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of university members, and it engages in various activities to foster a university culture of mutual consideration and respect.

Major Services

Human Rights Counseling Office

  • Counseling, accepting, investigating, and reporting incidents involving human rights violations (including sexual harassment and sexual violence)
  • Taking measures required for victim protection and perpetrator education
  • Other matters related to the handling of human rights violation cases

 

Education Research Office

  • Implementation of the Four Major Violence Prevention Education for the promotion of human rights and prevention of human rights violations, along with promotion and education activities
  • Survey on human rights violations and system improvements
  • Providing courses to enhance human rights awareness, and education for human rights protection and consciousness improvement

 

Administrative Services

  • Operation and management of Center-affiliated committees
  • Matters related to the establishment and revision of the Center regulations
  • Compilation of human rights reports, and planning and execution of budget related to the Center

 

How to Use the Center for Human Rights

  • Target Audience: Available for all university members, including students, faculty, and staff
  • Counseling Content: Counseling related to human rights violations (sexual harassment, sexual violence), Discussion of incident responses, Guidance on available support and procedures, etc.
  • Operating hours: Weekdays 09:00 - 18:00 (lunch break 12:00 - 13:00)
