Introduction
The Jeju National University College of Nursing was established first affiliated with the School of Medicine in 1997 with an initial class of 20 in 1998. Enrollment has steadily increased to 70 through and thereafter 1998. The department’s rise to the College of Nursing represented its independent purpose as the general and continuing education system. With the opening of a nursing practice center in 2014, the college has been able to provide the environment necessary for high quality simulated laboratory practices, and settled in the new innovated three-story building with 5,416㎡ in February 2016. The M.S. and Ph.D programs in Nursing have been authorized in Spring Semester 2017.

Jeju National University Hospital, Seoul National University Hospital, and many other national and private university hospitals, government public health organizations, public health clinics and hospitals, teaching jobs with military services, public health research institutes as research scientist, maternity nursing homes, insurance assessory agencies, industrial workman’s compensation programs, and visiting nursing groups, etc.

- 2016.02: Relocated to the new College of Nursing building
- 2015.03: Instituted Ph.D. degree program in nursing
- 2014.12: Accredited for the nursing degree program
- 2011.03: Elevated to the status of College of Nursing (72 freshmen enrolled)
- 2008.11: Held the 10th Department of Nursing anniversary symposium
- 2002.03: Approved M.S. degree program, Graduate College, Jeju National University
- 1998.3: Established the Department of Nursing with freshman enrollment of 20
