Outlook

The graduate school of Education seeks to
1) meet the educational demands of information-oriented and multi-cultural society in the 21st century.
2) Offer educational opportunity for nurturing experts required in the community, nation and global village.
3) plan to practice the professional education in the field through the students’ systematic acquisition of educational theories and methods.
4) nurturing educational experts to train children and teenagers into healthy humans.
Especially, by the incorporation of the Graduate School of Education in Jeju National University and the Graduate School of Education in Jeju National University of Education in 2008, the graduate school nurtures experts on primary education and secondary education more systematically and performs the retraining. To do that, the graduate school has two departments ‘Department of Education’focusing on improving the specialization on secondary schools with 19 majors and ‘Department of Primary Education ’focusing on improving the specialization on primary education with 12 majors.
The graduate school has 5 terms of courses as evening classes with 555 students of 31 majors in 2 departments as of April, 2017. Until now, we have had 2,783 Masters graduates and played the important role in retraining teachers in Jeju and nurturing professionals of primary and secondary education.
