University/Graduate

The cradle of student growth, a university that creates new values

The College of Natural Sciences led the establishment of the Bioscience Park to cultivate the health, beauty, and biological industries that are specialized regional strategic industries based on biological technologies. It also took the lead in creating the Jeju Science Park, one of the seven core projects promoted by Jeju Province to turn itself into a ‘Free International City’, in order to foster high-tech industries specializing in the information and biological technologies. In the process, the College of Natural Sciences actively helped advance the regional industries, generate new growth engines, create jobs, and add values to the local products.

The prominent faculty of the College of Natural Sciences have promoted domestic and international academic exchanges as well as research to educate highly specialized individuals which the local community requires. In order to solidify its status as the leader of a knowledge-based information society in the 21st century, it will keep pioneering the reform and ensure the students can attain a successful future.
