The Department of Trade provides its majors program to foster the talented international trading specialists through curricular courses in international trade, commercial trade, international management, and practical trade training. To enhance the program, the department emphasizes stringent training in scholastic research, secondary languages, and practical industry-academic collaborations.

The Department of Trade aims at cultivating the global minded trade specialists capable of generating effective future strategies to meet the demands of the changing international trade environment and the global markets through nurturing the ability to understand global culture, innovative interdisciplinary convergence and fusion, pursuit of problem’s solution, spirit of challenge, communication skills, and community empathy.
Careers
Graduates of the departmental majors program are able to find a variety of career options as trade English specialist, international trader, trade manager, authorized import agent, foreign money manager, raw materials site manager, tax specialist, insurance assessor, damage assessor, international distributor, and distribution manager. Upon graduation, they are employed with trade companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, distribution companies, and regional and national governments. With further study in graduate schools here at home or abroad, professorial and research positions are also accessible to them.
