Introduction
- The department conducts the investigative research on real estate matters and problems arising from such activities as real estate ownership, mediation, assessment, and management.
- The department trains the real estate specialists to acquire professional certificates and meet the demands of real estate businesses.
- - The curriculum encompasses comprehensive real estate issues and provides instructions in the basic theories of real estate, policy, development, assessment and evaluation, management and analysis, covering comprehensive real estate issues.
Aims
- Cultivate the analytical and evaluative abilities in dealing with real estate matters and activities
- Nurture the professionals with specialized expertise in real estate subjects and capable of meeting the needs of real estate markets
- Foster the training of opinion leaders equipped with the comprehensive and systematic perspectives of real estate issues.
Careers
- Equipped with the theoretical expertise and business knowledge in real estate properties in general, graduates of the program work as real estate specialists with government-run corporations such as Korea Land and Housing Corporation, Jeju Development Corporation, Jeju International Free City Development Center, construction companies, property assessment and evaluation firms, public mediation agencies, housing management companies, and consulting firms for industrial and public sectors as opinion leaders in the real estate matters.
- One may go on to further study at a graduate school and earn master’s and/or doctoral degrees for the eventual career in research at various institutes and organizations related to the real estate industry.
