- means "the best" and is derived from the word of the Jeju language "jerajida," which conveys the meaning "the best of Jeju National University are gathered."
Jerami is comprised of current students who love and take pride in Jeju National University, and was selected in 2004 as the 1st PR ambassadors. PR ambassadors, serving as the "face of Jeju National University," engage in various activities such as supporting major on- and off-campus events, campus tours, making of university promotional materials, and supporting college entrance fairs and university entrance explanation sessions.
The selected ambassadors who persevered through fierce competition not only excel in language skills and academic scores but also play a pivotal role in promoting and even creating a healthy university culture.
