Antismoking campaign calls for participants

Smoking is bad for your health, especially detrimental to your lung, heart and brains! It hurts not only your health, but also affects innocent bystanders and your family members including babies and children. We at the JNU Health Promotion Center calls for smokers to participate in non-smoking campaign. We will help stop your smoking habit!

1. How many participants? 30 JNU students, faculty and staff, first come first served

2. Deadline: 2014. 12. 17 (Wed)~ 12. 24 (Wed)

3. Campaign term: 2014. 12. 30 (Tue) ~ 2015. 02. 03 (Tue)

4. Campaign timetable: Visit to the Center Tuesday weekly (9:00~17:00)

5. Campaign activities
    A. First visit (1 hr. 30 min) : College of Education Room 331
        → Stop smoking education, assessment of nicotine dependency, carbon monoxide measurement, blood pressure checking
    B. 2nd ~6th visit (20~30 minutes) : Health Promotion Center
        → Individual counseling, blood pressure and carbon monoxide measurements, and antismoking drugs if needed (antismoking patch and gum)
    C. 7th visit until 60 months via phone, e-mail/text message(if desired)
    D. Nonsmoking successors (6th week), presented with congratulatory gifts

6. Application and queries (☎754-2059, 2060)
