Official Diplomatic relations between Korea and Italy date back to 1884 and reached in 2014 the important threshold of 130 years.

But well before that, Korea and Italy, as Nations with long histories, acknowledged their respective cultures. In this parallel, the life and work of Niccol Machiavelli, five centuries ago, are paradigmatic of the Italian Renaissance age and attract now the Korean attention.

At a time when creativity is an indispensable tool for further progress, the exhibition "Machiavelli, Renaissance Man" represents a contribution and inspiration for the future of our always friendly and fruitful relations.
