The JNU Department of Korean Language Education announced the results of the 60th Middle and High School Student Literary Contest, commemorating the 579th anniversary of the proclamation of Hunminjeongeum.

In this writing contest, Kang Ryeo-hyang, a student from Gwiyil Middle School, won the grand prize for her prose work titled "Tropical Night."

The best prize in the verse category was jointly awarded to Yang So-yoon, a student from Jeju National University Attached High School, and Kim Hae-min from Namnyeong High School. In the prose category, Son Moon-hyuk of Namnyeong High School also received the best prize.
