Jeju National University’s Career Development Center will hold a career consultation event for new students.

From April to June, the center will designate career consultants to more than 300 first-year students to assist with their preparation of career development.

During the meet-up, the participants will be able to figure out their vocational interests and aptitudes by taking the Myers-Briggs personality test and the Vocational Preference Inventory.

The university’s Career Development Center expects the event to better inform the students of what is available at the center, while facilitating them to adjust to college life amid difficulties with limited face-to-face classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heo Dae-sik, director of the Career Development Center, anticipated that the first meet-up between the center’s consultants and net undergraduates will help strengthen the students’ career preparedness and create better-matched job opportunities for them in the future.
