Counseling booth opened for students suffering from April bus-truck collision

Jeju National University and the regional Disaster Psychiatric Assistance Center opened a counseling booth for students suffering from the April 6 traffic collision, announced the JNU Student Counseling Center.
Specialists at the booth will provide a mental health counseling service from April 14 throughout 16 to those students who experienced the road traffic accident at the intersection of the university entrance.
The booth will be run on the ground floor of the Student Union Hall to be more accessible to the survivors and the witnesses of the traumatic event, as well as the students who helped rescuing the victims.
JNU Student Counseling Center said all of the related authorities will make a most concerted effort to provide the necessary mental counseling service as soon as possible so that the unprecedented-scale collision will not cause psychiatric risks to the students.
Should there be more requests for the counseling service, the Jeju National University will extend the operation of the booth to last until April 30.
