JNU’s clarinet artist Noh Kyu-min wins first prize at Eumak-Chunchu Competition

Noh Kyu-min, a Jeju National University (JNU) student majoring in orchestral music, won the first prize at the nation’s renowned music competition for classical music players.
According to the university’s Faculty of Music, the clarinet artist participated in the 26th Eumak-Chunchu Competition, which was held on April 15 in the art hall of Cosmos Corporation’s Seoul headquarters.
Eumak-Chunchu Competition, a renowned annual music competition, is considered the gateway to classical musical fame in Korea.
JNU’s Faculty of Music explained that Noh’s recent achievement proves JNU students’ potential for prominence and competitiveness in the classical musical circles.
