Supporters group for state-sponsored Regional Leading University Program Agency launched

An official supporters group for the Regional Leading University Program Agency of Jeju National University was launched, the university announced on Monday (May 3).

The Regional Leading University Program Agency held the launching ceremony for its 2nd official supporters group “GREATer” on April 30.

Consisting of 12 members, the supporters will represent Jeju National University’s Regional Leading University Program for the next eight months. The activity programs will include making online and offline promotional efforts, creating related contents, supporting and monitoring the program, and participating in charity events.

During the launching ceremony, the new members were briefed on the concept and the purpose of the state-led program, as well as the role of each team of the supporters group.

The Regional Leading University Program Agency also offered a facilitation service for the participants to share their opinions and ideas about the different roles depending on the teams.

The school official in charge of the supporters group said the project will help enable a continuous monitoring and communication and design a more customized program down the road.
