Open competition for suggestions on public diplomacy kick-started

An open competition to gather students’ ideas on public diplomacy started on April 28, announced Jeju National University’s Department of Political Science and Diplomacy.

The competition will continue until May 28, as a university support project of Korea Foundation, to raise public awareness of South Korean public diplomacy and call for the local community’s attention to the subject.

The students of Jeju National University who wish to join the competition should form a team of one or two members and submit their PowerPoint presentation files or user-created contents to the competition organizers by May 23 via e-mail (jeking910308@gmail.com).

Five teams, which will be finalized after the first screening, will give presentations in the seminar on May 28 (Ara Convention Hall). The winners will receive the prize money worth 500,000 won for the first prize, 300,000 won for the second prize, and 200,000 for the third prize.

The May 28 presentation will be broadcast live online.
