A postdoctoral researcher at Jeju National University’s Department of Mechatronics Engineering won an outstanding thesis award presented by the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME).

In the academic symposium, the Indian researcher was given the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award for his recently released paper, titled “Self-powered ferroelectric NTC thermistor based on bismuth titanate”. The thesis contains the outcomes of the use and the development of a small-sized, time-efficient energy storage system and sensor.

In the spring graduation ceremony held in February this year, the researcher also received Jeju National University’s Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Prize presented by the dean of the university’s Graduate School.
