Student clubs for career development to customize social demands
Jeju National University’s Career Development Center will accept new members of the student clubs for career development in the 2021 academic calendar from May 10 to 14.
The clubs which are collectively named CASPIR (Career Spaces for the JNU_CLIPs Circles) and their membership is open to all local youths looking for job opportunities, including JNU students and graduates.
The clubs will be run as autonomous spaces for the self-directed strengthening of the students’ job skills and career development.
Students are asked to apply for the membership of a preferred area among six categories, including public corporations, financial enterprises, conglomerates, research institutes, foreign companies, and IT businesses.
CASPIR membership will be activated in June and last for six months until December.
The CASPIR clubs will be supported by a designated employment support staff who will help students prepare for jobs. Each club will also be presented a supporting fund worth 1.5 million won.
Applications will be received through the JNU website (http://www.jejunu.ac.kr/main) and the Career Development Center’s blog (blog.naver.com/jnujob).
