An open competition to gather foreign students’ ideas on public diplomacy has been opened, according to Jeju National University’s Department of Political Science and Diplomacy.

Entries will be accepted when PowerPoint presentations or user-created contents with the theme of “South Korea’s public diplomacy from the foreign student’s perspective” have been sent to the organizers by May 30.
Five teams, which will be finalized after the first screening, will give presentations in the seminar on June 4 in the university’s Ara Convention Hall. The winners will receive the prize money worth 500,000 won for the first prize, 300,000 won for the second prize, and 200,000 for the third prize.
The June 4 presentation event will be broadcast live online.
