GTEP Business Group concludes business agreement to create trading momentum with KITA Jeju Branch

Jeju National University Glocal Trade Expert incubating Program (GTEP, Director Heo, Yoon-seok) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) Jeju Branch concluded a business agreement on May 25 to create trading momentum of small and medium enterprises and foster young trading experts.

The two organizations agreed on the provision of △ joint academic activities and information exchange for trading, △ internship, and field education for students △ assistance from field agents to foster trading personnel, and △ other convenience for trading affairs.

The JNU GTEP Business Group has also concluded agreements with 24 companies in Jeju to assist export, and will continue to excavate various enterprises looking for expansion in their export scale, contributing to the capacity building of students, creation of the region’s export momentum as well as the revitalization of regional economy.

Director Heo said, “the business agreement is to promote a mutual cooperation to create a momentum in the region’s export capability and to foster young experts in training.”
