JNU Creative Education Center selected as a host to perform creative education for 5 consecutive years

Jeju National University (President Song, Seok-eon) announced on the May 25 that the university’s Creative Education Center (Director Choi, Geun-bae) was selected as the final choice to carry out a national-level creative education project, a scheme hosted by the Ministry of Education and Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity.
The project first began in 2017 as a regional-level scheme by the Ministry of Education. For 3 years thereafter, from 2018 to 2020, the project expanded itself to national scale.
This year, the Ministry of Education re-selected JNU Creative Education Center as the host of project operation for the next 3 years. The Center will continue to strive for the preparation of a foundation for creative teaching and learning at school at the national level.
JNU is scheduled for the next 3 years to be involved in the project to establish infrastructure to revitalize national-level creative education through searching and disseminating educational content in response to post-COVID era.
Sub-plans included in the project are △a research for leading creative education model to develop creativity-blended strategic model for practice, △an innovative method to actively evaluate teaching and learning, including untact blended, dynamic quantum, and personalized artificial intelligence, △ the development and proof of creative educational content sch as ICT humanities that is easy to learn through amusement, cyber forensic education for elementary students, digital cure, and big data science, △ development of educational content and job training for field faculty training, and △ the establishment and operation of creative education cooperative network to expand consulting and spread its result.
