Application available for marine structure managing jobs

Jeju National University Center for Marine Sport (Director Kim, Deok-jin) announced on the May 25 that it will launch a project for supporting job seekers in the field of marine structure management for 2021, as a part of an employment support project of Jeju region, along with Jeju International University and Seoul Commercial Diving Academy (SCDA).

The project is sponsored by Jeju Special Self-governing Province and aims to recruit and foster personnel in commercial diving capable of the installation and maintenance of marine infrastructure, a prospective field involving coastal development and management of marine structures in Jeju.

Application is available until June 20. Those who are 20 to 50 years old living in Jeju in possession of relevant licenses or have experience in the field are prioritized. Total 16 people will be chosen in the end.

Those who are selected will be given theoretical and practical education regarding the commercial diving between June and July and will be provided with job matching support by the end of the year.
