Academic conference scheduled to be held jointly by JNU ESRI and local education office

Jeju National University’s Educational Science Research Institute (JNU-ESRI) will host the 2021 Joint Summer Academic Conference on June 4. The conference has been organized jointly with Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education’s Policy Institute and Jeju National University’s College of Education.
Under the theme of “Jeju’s Future Education and Schools’ Responses”, the conference will be divided into two sessions. The first session will address three papers, titled, “The Current State and Challenges of Peace and Human Rights Education Using Jeju 4?3-related Literature”, “Place-based Education and Jeju’s Future Education”, and “Artificial Intelligence-based English Education and the Future of Jeju’s Education”.
In the subsequent session, three more speakers will give presentations under the titles of “Analysis of Current State of Education for Understanding Jeju and Strategies for Future Development”, “A Middle School Teacher’s Retrospection through Self-Study of Experiencing the Free Semester System: Education on Village Communities”, and “Exploration into a Future-Oriented Educational Paradigm of Jeju-Type Innovative Schools”.

Gaining momentum of the joint conference, Jeju National University and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education will continue their cooperative efforts on shared issues.
