Biohealth-New Drug Research Team will hold OPEN Lab to attract talents

Biohealth-New Drug Research Team at JNU BK (Brain Korea) 21 announced on June 9 that it would run OPEN Lab, in which laboratories conducting researches related to BK projects and educational and support programs will be introduced to undergraduate students on June 22.

The research team will give information on education and benefits graduate students can receive through OPEN Lab BK 21. In this event, graduate students who belong to the research team will be mentors to promote for attracting talents by introducing laboratories and research contents.

The research team has 20 adjunct professors from the Department of Biotechnology (Biomaterials, Animal Biotechnology), Science Education (Biology Education), Biology, Food Science and Nutrition, as well as the College of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy.

In addition, outstanding overseas students and graduates of Jeju National University who majored in various fields are conducting research.

Based on knowledge and core technologies related to bio-medicine, the research team aims to develop bio-health / innovative new drugs and cultivates researchers for the new state-of-the-art medicine of the next generation through research and innovative education curriculum.
