Support young promising trade experts provided for local export businesses

Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) attended the 2021 JEJU CAFESTA, an expo for local coffee-related small and medium companies.
From June 3 to 6, 35 JNU-GTEP members joined the trade fair to help with the businesses in looking for export opportunities.
The 2021 JEJU CAFESTA is Jeju’s only fair with the theme of coffee, which attracts a range of enterprises in the fields of raw and subsidiary materials, desserts, counseling services, and more.
Recently, JNU-GTEP has taken active measures to provide support for local businesses by signing an agreement for cooperation with the Jeju branch of Korea International Trade Association and 24 Jeju-based companies. Based on these agreements, JNU-GTEP promoted the products of its partner businesses during the trade fair.
Before joining the fair, the JNU-GTEP members engaged in all preparatory procedures, such as contacting the businesses and analyzing the products to be displayed. The young promising trade experts also participated in the entire event process on the site, helping with the business consultation meetings and the operation of promotional booths.
JNU-GTEP expects the trade fair gave its members a good field-based lesson, which the promising trade experts will find useful in their future career path.
