Refugees to Jeju to be invited for an open talk

Jeju National University’s Tamla Cultural Research Institute will hold the 2021 Cumda Colloquium, with the theme of “The Life of Refugees in Jeju”.

According to the institute, the event was organized as a part of the project to study the history of Jeju Island and refugees, funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

The two-hour colloquium will begin at 5 p.m. on July 22 in Hyeonseokjae (College of Humanities II), featuring different guests such as refugees from Bangladesh and Yemen, and researchers in the related fields.

The event will be broadcast live on the institute’s Facebook page for Cumda Humanities.
