Solutions to food shortage issues to be discussed with world renowned scholar

Dr. Fereidoon Shahidi to be invited for special online lecture

Jeju National University’s Bio-Fisheries Industry Research Team will hold a special online lecture at 10 a.m. on June 21, provided by Dr. Fereidoon Shahidi (professor at Memorial University, Canada).

The special lecture will be titled, “Nutraceuticals and Bioactives from Seafoods and Processing By-products thereof”.

JNU Bio-Fisheries Industry Research Team expected that the event will be an opportunity to share information about latest creative studies on solving food shortage issues, while understanding different aspects of functional substances in fisheries products.

Dr. Shahidi is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Food Bioactives and Food Production, Processing and Nutrition, as well as Founding Editor of Journal of Functional Foods.
