Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) attended the Busan International Food Expo (BOFOOD) 2021, an international fair held from June 22 through 26 at BEXCO, Busan.

The expo was held under the theme of a tour of the food processing and manufacturing industries in and out of Korea, inviting 400 businesses to run more than 900 booths.

The venue was divided into the General & Processed Food Section, the Food Service & Facilities Section, the Café & Bakery Section, and the Food Manufacture Equipment & Packaging Section.

During the fair, the JNU-GTEP supported its local partners for their sales and marketing operations. Recently, JNU-GTEP has taken active measures to provide support for local businesses by signing an agreement with Jeju-based companies. Based on these agreements, JNU-GTEP promotes the products of its partner businesses and educate its promising young trade experts funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
