Academic exchange planned with Chonnam Nat’l University on bio-health

Jeju National University’s Bio-health and New Medicine Education Program will hold an academic conference with Chonnam National University on Tuesday (July 2).

The Jeju-based Brain Korea (BK) 21 program focusing on subtropical bio-resources will meet with the Jeollanamdo-based Glocal Talent Incubating Program for Future Science.

The two BK 21 institutes will consider measures to improve their research programs and build a platform for joint research projects.

During the event, the professors participating in the program will give presentations about their areas of research and have discussions.

Lee Dong-sun, head of the JNU BK 21 team, expected that the conference will help share knowledge and attempt joint research projects.
