Completion ceremony held for JPDC employment strategy academy

Jeju National University LINC+ held the completion ceremony for the 4th Academy for JPDC Employment Strategies on Thursday (June 24).

The academy was run for the students who are looking for job opportunities at Jeju Provincial Development Corporation (JPDC), and 23 students completed the course.

The course was designed jointly by JNU LINC+ and JPDC to train talents who have potential to be employed by the provincial corporation.

The participants took eight special classes from June 1 to 24, particularly on the working environment of JPDC.

Those who completed the course received the certificate of course completion given by the president of Jeju National University and the CEO of JPDC.

In the outcome presentation event, Lee Eun-jeong (a fourth-year student in the Department of Economics) and Park Hyun-tae (a fourth-year student majoring in Chemical and Biological Engineering) were awarded the Gold Prize given by the CEO of JPDC.

Shin Sang-yong, head of the HR Education Team of JPDC, said that JPDC had put forth a lot of efforts into the academy to help the students understand the corporation’s working environment. In return, the academy comes out with increasingly impressive ideas proposed by the students, he added.
