’폐기물배출 Zero 알로에‘ 지식재산 워크숍 개최
Intellectual property workshop on zero-waste aloe held

Jeju National University’s Intellectual Property Education Center held the Intellectual Property (IP) Workshop on Building an Industrial Ecosystem for Zero-Waste Aloe, the university announced on Tuesday (July 6).

The workshop was prepared to help the IP capabilities of JNU faculty and students by sharing latest research trends and information about product development.

The event invited Lee Seong-hoon, an official of Kim Jeon Moon Aloe Corp., who introduced recent studies on commercializing the aloe waste, as well as ongoing development projects.

In the discussion session, the industrial expert answered questions on the market trends and shared his views on the future development strategies with the participants.

The next speaker, Prof. Kim Beom Yong of JNU IP Education Center, talked about the current state of domestic and international patent application in the related industry.

JNU IP Education Center was recently selected by the Ministry of Education as the institute that will continue to implement the 2021 IP Education Leading University Program.

Director Kim In-jung that the center will provide full support for the development of education and capacity building programs to link the school researchers with local businesses in seeking IP opportunities.
