Jeju National University’s Stage-4 Brain Korea (BK) 21 team named JNU Incubating Team for Jeju Energy Industry Advancement will hold the “Open Lab” event on Tuesday (July 27).
During the event, postgraduate members will provide the undergraduate participants with mentoring support, while introducing the latest research projects conducted in the incubating team’s lab, concerning the generation, storage, and demand management of energy.
The participants will also learn about the financial assistance available for students who decide to study in the university’s postgraduate programs.
Byun Yung-cheol, deputy head of the incubating team, expected the Open Lab event to attract local talent to the new energy industry.
Under the state-led BK 21 program, the team will work to incubate talent in the new energy field from 2020 to 2027.
