University museum begins exhibiting Kim Doo Chul’s photos of sky and sea

Jeju National University Museum will exhibit photographs with the theme of the sky and the sea from July 23 to 30.

The event is titled, “Kim Doo Chul’ Solo Photography Exhibition: The Sky, the Sea, and…”, will feature Kim Doo Chul’s 35 photographs that show the enchanting natural scenery of Jeju Island.

Kim, a former professor in Jeju National University’s Department of Physics, started taking photographs professionally a few years ago.

Before ending his teaching career of 35 years in late August, Kim will exhibit 35 photos reflecting his memoirs.

Meanwhile, the university’s museum plans to hold more photography exhibitions with the theme of Jeju this year, funded by the state-led National University Promotion Project.
