GTEP discusses promotional strategies for e-commerce

 

 

Jeju National University’s Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (JNU-GTEP) discussed promotional strategies for e-commerce, the university announced on Tuesday (July 20).

 

JNU-GTEP has trained its member students over the past five months through its Special Course on E-commerce to equip the future traders with the capabilities related to e-commerce.

 

Wrapping up the spring semester activities, the participants gave presentations on their respective strategies to help the institute’s Jeju-based partners to enter the Southeast Asian market.

 

The presentations focused on the sharing of information about how to become a seller on the Southeast Asian e-commerce platform of Shopee and what marketing strategies to be developed. The participants also discussed marketing strategies targeting the platform and social media services such as Instagram and Facebook.

 

JNU-GTEP plans to join the 15th Korea GTEP E-commerce Case Contest, which will be held in November by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association.

 

Hur Yun-seok, head of the JNU-GTEP, expected the e-commerce training course to allow the students to build advanced trading capacity in preparation for the competitive global market.
