SW융합교육원, '파이썬 프로그램밍 집중 특강' 실시
Intensive course on “Python” offered by SW Convergence Education Institute

Jeju National University’s Software Convergence Education Institute (JNU-SCEI) offered a two-week intensive course on the Python Programming Language, the university announced on Monday (Aug. 2).

From July 19 to 30, some 20 members of the university’s second Software Pioneer Scholarship Program learned about how to develop software applications using the Python.

The latest Software Pioneer Scholarship Program took the format of an intensive course, considering the school’s summer vacation that started late in June.

JNU-SCEI plans to run the subsequent course for three weeks, starting from Aug. 2, on big data analysis. On Aug. 3 and 4, a pilot program will invite Silicon Valley-based lecturers (CISCO and Apple).

Song Wang-cheol, the director of JNU-SCEI, promised full support for the summer intensive course so that the students can have a systematic training experience.
