International accreditation course for IP specialist training held

Jeju National University’s Intellectual Property Education Promotion Team held the 2021 Theory of Solving Inventive Problem (TRIZ) Level 2 course.

The course was offered five times from July 16 for those who plan to obtain the international accreditation for TRIZ Level 2.

During the course, the participants was trained on how to define and resolve problems as a way of empowering themselves as intellectual property experts.

Nine trainees completed the course with the attendance rate of over 80%. After passing the final project, the trainees will obtain the international certificate for Triz Level 2.

The course was led by Han Yoo-shin, the CEO of HanDOT Corp. who holds the certificate for TRIZ Level 4. His lectures started with the review of TRIZ Level 1, helping the trainees approach the basic concepts and case examples more easily. Kim In-jung, the head of the university’s Intellectual Property Education Promotion Team, said a program for TRIZ Level 1 will be prepared in the near future.
