Appointee for JNU Director-General announced

The Ministry of Education appointed Oh Seong-bae to the Director of Jeju National University’s Bureau of General Administration as of July 30.

The newly appointed Director started his career as a government employee in 1997. He was promoted to a Grade 4 Official in 2007 and to a Grade 3 Official in 2015. With the latest appointment, he has been promoted to a Senior Executive Service Officer.

Oh graduated from the Department of Social Education at Seoul National University and received his M.A. in Educational Administration at Yonsei University.

His previous titles include the Director of General Administrative Bureau at Hanbat National University, the Director of Administrative Headquarters at Chonnam National University, the head of the Division of School Security and Safety at the Ministry of Education, and the vice head of the Green Smart Future School Promotion Team.
