공학센터, ‘2021 3D 설계 교육 아카데미’ 개최
Training course on 3D designing for engineering education held

Jeju National University’s Innovation Center for Engineering Education (JNU-ICEE) held the 2021 3D Designing Education Academy from July 19 to 30.

The course was organized jointly by JNU-ICEE, JNU’s WISET Program Jeju Center, and Cheju Halla University’s Innovation Center for Engineering Education.

During the program, 27 trainees (21 JNU graduates and undergraduates, 6 CHU undergraduates) took an 80-hour course to learn about how to use the designing platform named SolidWorks.

The classes were taught by SolidWorks specialists who inspired the students on how to create three-dimensional designs and manufacture products based on those designs.

The course also enabled many trainees to pass the exams to obtain international SolidWorks certificates. Specifically, 18 students succeeded in obtaining the CSWA certificate and 19 in obtaining the CSWP (including the overlapping applicants).

Ahn Kijung, the director of JNU-ICEE, said that the certificates obtained through the academic program is expected to help the students have quality job opportunities.
