Policies on agro food to be discussed at ICC Jeju

Korean Association of Agricultural and Food Policy (KAAFP) will hold its summer conference under the theme of “Challenges of Agriculture and Rural Areas in the Era of Climate Change and Pandemic”.

The annual conference is slated to be held on Aug. 19 and 20 at International Convention Center Jeju.

The event will be sponsored by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju National University, Korea Rural Economic Institute, Farming Plus at Jeju Fair, Jeju Free International City Development Center, Jeju Research Institute, and Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology.

The KAAFP conference will feature more than 20 different topics in five sessions, which will address recent issues and challenges in the agro business sector and how to cope with the worsening climate change and the ongoing pandemic.

Particularly, specialized researchers will present 26 papers on agro business management, rural area policies, agricultural policies, food policies, agricultural development, and international agricultural busines.

During the conference, a paper contest for undergraduates and a poster paper contest for postgraduates will also be held.
