Jeju International Development Cooperation Center to accept new supporters

Jeju National University’s International Development Cooperation Center (JIDCC) will accept new members of ODASAY, the center’s group of undergraduate supporters.
JIDCC was established in 2015 as Jeju National University’s on-campus agency for official development assistance under an agreement concluded between the university, Korea International Cooperation Agency, and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
The supporters’ group was named ODASAY by combining “official development assistance” (ODA) and “say,” representing local students’ efforts to discuss ODA on Jeju Island. As its name indicates, the ODASAY introduces issues on international development and cooperation, while taking related educational courses and staging public relations campaigns.
JIDCC will allow the new ODASAY membership to join its programs for three months, starting from September through December this year. As the focal point of Jeju Island’s ODA projects, JIDCC will offer a range of programs to help the supports to develop their global capabilities down the road.
Applying for the membership will be available from Aug. 7 through 22. The application is open to any local college students who are interested in international issues and planning public relations activities. JIDCC will accept the applications online at https://forms.gle/dhRQBLRwixq93tgT9.
More detailed information is available on JIDCC’s official website (https://jjidcc.modoo.at/). JIDCC will also respond to inquiries by phone at 064-754-8250.
