JNU’s lev. 4 social distancing rules to revert to online learning announced

Jeju National University confirmed the operational guidelines for educational matters in the 2021 fall semester to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
According to the university announcement, the classes will be offered in different formats, depending on the levels of the nation’s social distancing rules.
Under the level-four social distancing measures as of now, the school’s departments will give all their lectures online by rule. However, subjects that inevitably require in-person meetings for experiments, practices, and exercises will be allowed on the condition that the strictest disease control standards are observed in the rooms.
With the toughest social distancing rules continued, the university plans to maintain the non-face-to-face system until its mid-term period (Oct. 20-26).
Any changes in the national or local social distancing guidelines may affect the learning formats, which will be announced two weeks in advance.
Under social distancing measures Levels 1 and 2, the school’s classes with 30 or fewer students should be given in person. The classes may remain offline under the level-three social distancing measures only when the disease prevention policies are observed in the classrooms.
