Building an education platform for oceanic big data agreed

Jeju National University’s Oceanic Big Data Specialist Incubation will build a platform development for education and research data sharing on oceanic big data, in cooperation with two private corporations.

The center met with InfoMind Corp. and Ara Communications Corp, on Thursday (Aug. 26) at the university to sign a memorandum of understanding for the platform building.

Under the agreement, the center and the businesses will cooperate on the establishment and operation of the related platform.

The platform will encourage the university’s graduate students to study more actively the convergence of oceanic big data with artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.

The parties also agreed to make mutual efforts to foster global specialists in response to the fourth industrial revolution.
