Nursing school holds annual conference online

Jeju National University’s Department of Nursing held the 18th Conference of Nursing Department and the 5th Conference of Health and Nursing Research Institute, the school’s School of Nursing announced on Thursday (Aug. 26).

The department-level conference is an annual event where students can understand the need of nursing studies and broaden the spectrum of their knowledge.

The university’s Health and Nursing Research Institute was opened in 2017 for the improvement of nursing education and research. To meet the local community’s demand for the nursing specialists, the research center holds an annual conference.

The nursing department’s conference featured the presentations given by eight teams consisting of third-year students, who shared their research plans with the other members.

The research center’s meeting invited more than 40 health practitioners from inside and outside Jeju National University to discuss strategies for the reinvigoration of field training in the non-contact era.
