IP education center’s workshop held with Yeungnam University

Jeju National University Intellectual Property Education Center (JNU-IPEC) and Yeungnam University’s Intellectual Property Education Center held a joint workshop on Aug. 19 and 20, JNU-IPEC announced on Friday (Aug. 27).

The workshop was prepared to raise public awareness of intellectual properties through exchanges between university-based IP education centers.

During the event, Kim Wook-hyun, head of Yeungnam University’s IP Education Center, give a presentation about his center’s case of running IP education programs.

Kim In-jung, director of JNU-IPEC, introduced Jeju National University’s programs held through its regional institutional network.

The other speaker named Kim Jong-geun, professor at Yeungnam University, spoke about IP education in the smart, digital era.

The workshop also featured a discussion and consultation session for the sharing of knowhow on IP education.

JNU-IPEC director Kim said efforts will be made to continue to interact with other IP education centers so that universities can fulfill their commitments to serving as the regional center of IP specialist incubation.
