LINC+ center’s ‘on-tact unicorn start-ups camp’ held

Jeju National University’s LINC+ (a state-led industry-academic cooperation project) held an online camp on start-ups, the university announced on Wednesday (Sept. 1).
The two-day camp started on Aug. 30, offering a curriculum featuring “gamification” to provide the school’s start-up clubs with a dynamic and innovative learning opportunity.
The performance presentation event was attended by six teams of 22 members in total. The program also held a simulated investment event by appointing investment operating companies as institutional juries and camp participants as individual reviewers.
The Grand Prize was presented to the 3K team, which proposed a zero-waste travel using trave kits made of eco-friendly materials. Recycled products using internet of things technologies also received high scores.
For the smooth operation of the program, JNU’s LINC+ designated a facilitator to each team during the individual and team-based courses.
JNU’s LINC+ runs an educational course on start-ups for current and promising entrepreneurs. The center also provides support from the preparation to the establishment of the new businesses, while connecting them to related institutes for further advancement.
