21st Oath of Nightingale taken online by prospective nurses

Jeju National University’s Department of Nursing held the 21st Oath of Nightingale for the junior nursing students at the College of Nursing on Friday (Aug. 27). To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the event was held online, using the Zoom platform.

The Nightingale Oaths are taken annually, to instill the nursing spirit of Nightingale, by the junior class nursing students in advance of their first nursing clinic lab practices at the university hospital.

The latest ceremony was attended by 65 prospective nurses. Following the ceremony, Nursing Junior Student Lim Jeong-heum and her 12 classmates were awarded scholarship certificates.
