Jeju language course for local cultural commentators to be launched

Jeju National University’s Korean Language and Culture Center will open a Jeju language course for local cultural commentators, starting from Tuesday (Oct. 12).

The language course has been offered for three consecutive years, sponsored by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

The upcoming program will include 15 lectures and three site visits, which will take 63 hours in total. Classes will be offered mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, taking the online and offline formats depending on the changing quarantine guidelines.

Bae Younghwan, Director of the center, expected the course to be useful for the Jeju language-related performances of local cultural commentators.
