국제개발협력센터, 온라인 ODA정규교육 기본과정 실시
Online education course on official development assistance completed

A two-day education course on official development assistance (ODA) was offered online on Sept. 10 and 11 by Jeju National University International Development and Cooperation Center (JIDCC).

The course, titled “The understanding of ODA”, featured lecturers with the topics addressing the definition, history, trends, issues, and divers actors of ODA. The classes also introduced the trainees to Korean cases of ODA and help students build global citizenship and seek career paths in the related field.

A total of 33 students completed the course, who will receive the certificate of course completion issued by the JIDCC and Korea International Cooperation Agency if with the attendance rate of 80% or over.

The JIDCC regular education course is open to anyone who is interested in ODA. More detailed information is available on the websites of JIDCC (https://jjidcc.modoo.at/) and Jeju National University (https://www.jejunu.ac.kr/main).

JIDCC was established in 2015 as Jeju National University’s on-campus agency for official development assistance under an agreement concluded between the university, Korea International Cooperation Agency, and Jeju province.
